You can find the von Anrep family cemetery 1.5 kilometres from the centre of the estate. The funeral chapel lies in ruins but a unique lion figure cast in the Berlin Royal Foundry has been preserved.
By the historical distribution the manor was in
Helme Parish
in Virumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to
the Tarvastu Municipality in
Viljandimaa County.
The estate, established in 1678, has mostly belonged to the von Anreps. The two-storey
Early-Classical
main building, erected in the estate at the end of the 18th century was reconstructed at the beginning of the 20th century. The building got its present exterior — a mixture of
Neo-Baroque
and
Art Noveau
— after a fire in 1907.
