This manor house, first mentioned in 1593, was later owned by the noble family of von Kruedener for a long time. In 1838, the Classicist main building of the manor house was constructed together with a number of stylish Classicist outbuildings (the main building now houses a school).

By the historical distribution the manor was in Suure-Jaani Parish in Viljandimaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Suure-Jaani Municipality in Viljandimaa County.
