Estonian manors
Haggud in Kirchspiel Rappel, Harrien

The manor was established in 1649 and for many centuries it belonged to the noble family von Krusenstern. The two-storied main building was built in Baroque style in the mid 18th century and has remained so till today, though in a Early Classicistic style, as it was rebuilt in the end of the same century. The building was left in ruins in the 1950s. Though the renovation works were started in the 1980s, they have not been completed. Today the manor is privately owned. The world-famous explorer Adam Johann von Krusenstern was born in this manor.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Rapla Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Rapla Municipality in Raplamaa County.
