Kegel in Kirchspiel Kegel, Harrien

The manor was first mentioned in 1433. The ruins of the fortress lodgings, erected in the Middle Ages, have been excavated and are on exhibit. The main building, constructed in several stages in the 18th and 19th centuries, was reconstructed several times in the 20th century. The building houses the Harju County Museum. By the historical distribution the manor was in Keila Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Keila Town in Harjumaa County.
