Estonian manors
Samm in Kirchspiel Maholm, Wierland

The manor, which was first mentioned in 1583, later belonged to the family of Stael von Holstein for a long time. The main building of the manor was constructed in several steps in the 18th century, the newer right part being in Early-Classicist style. Now, only some ruins of the house have remained.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Viru-Nigula Parish in Virumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Viru-Nigula Municipality in Ida-Virumaa County.
