Estonian manors
Kau in Kirchspiel Kosch, Harrien

The manor, first mentioned in 1319, has changed owners often. The main building (currently privately owned) was built in several stages from the 14th to the 19th century and received its current Classical look and porticos in 1817. The world-famous explorer and seafarer Otto von Kotzebue was born in the manor.

The manor house was fully renovated between 2009 and 2012 and serves as a place for exclusive meetings. Contact - http://www.kau.ee/, info@kau.ee, ph. +372 6441 411.

By the historical distribution the manor was in Kose Parish in Harjumaa County. By the present administrative distribution it belongs to the Kõue Municipality in Harjumaa County.
